| Wat Chia means "Welcome" in the Cree Language, truly an appropriate name for such a welcoming cottage. Wat Chia House is a cozy, three bedroom cottage in the town of Bayfield, Ontario. Just a few minutes walk from the Bayfield Square and Lake Huron, and a short drive from Goderich and Grand Bend, Wat Chia House is ideally located for a fun and restful getaway. Wat Chia House comfortably sleeps six, with extra sleeping for two. It has three bedrooms and a bathroom with a large shower/tub and skylight. The living room houses a beautiful heating fireplace with remote control. The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, large refrigerator, and microwave, as well as a comfortable kitchen table with seating for six. Wat Chia House also has a small laundry room with washer/dryer so you can pack light. The spacious back deck is an ideal spot for a barbeque, with a large table and umbrella. the deck looks on to the woods behind the house, the little treehouse nestled among the branches, and the lovely shed (called Lavender House) with delightful window boxes. |
